Junior Transport Minister Alan Kelly pictured with Ronan Clifford, Michael and Elaine Kavanagh from Kells, County Kerry cycling on the old Glenbeigh to Cahersiveen Railway line on Thursday after he launched a €3.4m greenway development for South Kerry. 
The Glenbeigh Greenway will facilitate walkers and cyclists and stretch 26 kilometres from Glenbeigh to Caherciveen and Renard and will be routed along the old railway line. The route includes travelling through train tunnels, crossing over the magnificient Gleesk Viaduct all along the Wild Atlantic Way with the most spectacular scenery in Ireland overlooking Dingle Bay.
