Alex O'Shea who broke the world record for completing a marathon in full fire fighter dress at the finish line of the Cork City Marathon.
Over 7000 runners will take part in the internationally recognised Cork City Marathon organised by Cork City Council in partnership with Athletics Ireland BHAA Cork Education and Training Board and an Garda Síochána and volunteer organisations.
