At a reunion mass and fund-raising lunch of the All-Ireland winning Cork football team from 1989 with the proceeds going to Marymount Hospice which was held at Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, were the Cork players joined by many of the former Meath players who were present. Included also are Steven McCarthy, son of the late Cork forward Mick McCarthy, and John Kerins, son of the late Cork goalkeeper, John Kerins.
