23/09/2014 NO REPRO FEE: Ireland's favourite Chef Neven Maguire competes with James O'Dea (4) from Abbeyleix Co Laoise for the prestigious title of '2014 All-Ireland Postwest Welly Thrower'. Ireland’s most trusted name in work-wear and out-door leisure wear, will be hosting their annual All-Ireland Portwest Welly-Throwing Competition throughout the three days at the National Ploughing Championships in Co. Laois.

A fun and lively fixture, the annual event sees hundreds of competitors from across Ireland descend to the Portwest Welly Throwing Competition each year. All funds raised will go towards supporting The Cystinosis Ireland Foundation, Laois Riding for the Disabled and local GAA club Park Ratheniska. www.portwest.com Photo: Pat Moore.
