IrelandÕs only drive in cinema, Movie Junction, Carrigtwohill launched their Halloween celebrations with the aid of Firkin Crane's 'Spooktacular' dancers and Keary's Mini yesterday. The special Halloween campaign encourages movieÊlovers to treat their pets and kids alike to the cinema this midterm break in a bid to raise money and awareness for two of Cork's busiest animal rescue centres.

Movie Junction which is celebrating 4 years in business this month will aid Glansillagh Animal Rescue and Community Cats Network to pay mounting vet bills and runningÊcosts which are posing a severe threat to their future. The centres have rescuedÊthousands of animals in the past number of years. The campaign also tiesÊin with raising awareness for animal safety at Halloween when rescues becomingÊovercrowded with dogs and cats who are presented with burns from bonfires andÊfireworks and become lost due to fright.
