GUINNESS CELEBRATES CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY IN NEW ÔMADE OF MOREÕ RUGBY CAMPAIGN 22/10/2014
Ireland ad focuses on MunsterÕs famous victory over New Zealand in 1978.
MunsterÕs historic 12-0 victory over New Zealand in 1978 is retold in a new GUINNESS ad campaign ÔMunster: Self BeliefÕ, which will air on Irish TV for the first time on Wednesday 5th November ahead of IrelandÕs opening Guinness Series fixture. The new ad focuses on telling the story of how a group of ordinary men came together and defied circumstance to achieve something extraordinary.
To understand the mind-set needed to achieve this historic feat, Guinness enlisted the help of Kiwi-born Ireland head coach, Joe Schmidt, alongside one of the worldÕs leading sports psychologists, Dr. Mike Gervais.
US based Gervais has helped unlock the potential of some of the globeÕs top sporting organisations and athletes including the US Olympic team, Seattle Seahawks and Austrian daredevil space-jumper, Felix Baumgartner.
The new ad will first go live online on Tuesday 4th November at www.youtube.com/GuinnessEurope
