 "Tree of Life"
Photo taken By Katie O'Keeffe of the "Tree of Life" at the recent event held on the 10th Oct for the Oncology Nurses at "The Girls Club" Cancer Support Group. This tree is drawn on one of the walls at the Girls Club which is based at 26 St Pauls Avenue in Cork City and each hand represents a person or family who has been touched in some way by Cancer. Some hands represent survivors, some represent people who have passed over and others represent volunteers and each colour represents a different type of cancer. This Tree if it could speak could tell so many different stories and is such an important part of the "The Girls Club".
