Picture Story this week is the visit of The Cobh Animation Group to Togher Wednesday Social Group on Wednesday Jan 20th from 2.15 p.m. to 3.45 p.m. Mary O'Connor dressed as one of the Hickson sisters, who died on the Luisitania, and (right) Claire Cullinane dressed as a Cumann na mBan member from 1916. The stories of ten women were recounted and presented by Cobh Animation Group, based on the lives of women from the time of the Luisitania sinking, World War I and the Easter Rebellion of 1916.
