Was watching a female emperor dragonfly skitting about over a pond near Ardmore when she was suddenly joined by a male. Clasped together they alighted on a tree nearby. Had to balance myself over some scrub and gorse overhanging a ravine to get some shots. Used flash to illuminate the shadows a little, the reflection of the sinking sun creating hexagonal shapes in their eyes.
