The 'Helga' Rankin dinghy (blue, on left), one of the first Rankin dinghies built in Cobh in the late 1950's and originally owned by the Rankin brothers, David and Eric.
Rankin Dinghy Group set off for Crosshaven from Whitepoint, Cobh Co Cork. Approx. 80 Rankin dinghies were built from the late 1950's to the 1980's and the Rankin Dinghy group was set up to revive the class and restore boats to their past glory.
