Taking part in the Ocean to City Race on the sheltered river course during Cork Harbour Festival was Benny Deady, East Ferry Rowing Club, with a group of ladies from the United States (from left) Cate Cody, Katy Glover, Deb Noonan and Rosemary Whidden. The Evening Echo was a sponsor of the race.
