Noreen Minihan, Clonakilty, (left) and Gretta O'Donovan, Deputy Mayor of Conakilty, were at the presentation of a lifetime achievement award to Dónal Lunny, legendary traditional musician, at De Barra's, Clonakilty, by Aengus Finnan, executive director, Folk Alliance International. The presentation took place during The ExChange, the inaugural European folk music conference, a partnership between Folk Alliance and the Clonakilty International Guitar Festival which was held in West Cork and based in Clonakilty. The Guitar Festival continues until Sept. 24th. in Clonakilty.
