'Ted's Opel-Vauxhall Run 2019'. Now in its 12th year the annual run takes in some spectacular scenery, rally stages, and parts of the Wild Atlantic Way in West Cork from The Mills Inn, Ballyvourney, Co Cork. The main sponsors are Cartell.ie, Opel Ireland, and Casey Caravan Services with proceeds from the run going to Irish Dogs for the Disabled.
Fergal McGovern and Annemarie Lavery who travelled 315 miles from Tyrone to take part in the run in their 1976 (modified) Ascona, with Ted O'Connell, Chairperson, Ted's Opel-Vauxhall Run and June Flavey with their (unmodified) 1980 Opel Ascona.
