 Crew members onboard the sail-training vessel 'Pelican of London', climb the main mast, while berthed at Custom House Quay, Cork city, with a backdrop of construction tower cranes on Thursday 5th September 2019. The vessel was built in 1948 and served as an Arctic trawler under the name 'Pelican' before operating as a coastal trading vessel under the name 'Kadett', until 1995. In 2007 a conversion to a sail-training vessel was completed.
