 Crew members onboard the sail-training vessel 'Pelican of London', climb the main mast, while berthed at Custom House Quay, Cork city, on Thursday 5th September 2019. The vessel was built in 1948 and served as an Arctic trawler under the name 'Pelican' before operating as a coastal trading vessel under the name 'Kadett', until 1995. In 2007 a conversion to a sail-training vessel was completed.
