The first section of Daly’s Bridge known locally as the Shakey Bridge is placed on a barge to be taken away for restoration work which will take up to eight months. The suspension bridge was opened on April 9th, 1927 linking Sunday’s Well and the Mardyke, Cork. Picture Dan Linehan
