Cork’s parking spots will turn into pop-up parks for one day Co-ordianted by Cork City Council and the Transport & Mobility Forum and supported by Cork County Council. Cork will once again take part in the international PARK(ing) Day event this Friday September 20th where artists, designers and citizens will transform paid parking spots into temporary public parks. The pop-up parklets are set to appear across various city locations (Douglas St, South Mall, North Main St and Western Rd) Cork.
