 Atlantic Flight Training Academy have moved all their flight training online during the Covid-19 pandemic. Normally the flight academy would have up to twenty aircraft operational, along with three flight simulators in use. Their Cork hangars have aircraft stored indoors with additional aircraft on the tarmac outside, during this downtime.
The company have two DA-42 Diamond twin engine planes ready and available for use by the HSE. The offer was made to facilitate the use of the aircraft for MEDIVAC purposes, urgent PPE delivery, or urgent HSE worker/staff deployment.
