ECHO request by Maeve Lee: 13-year-old Sean Tyrrell was made an honorary garda on Sunday morning 24th January 2021. Garda Jimmy Smiddy hands over a uniform to Sean after a very special driveby by members of the Gardai, Fire Brigade, Civil Defence and National Ambulance Service.
