ECHO Pet O’Connell: At Curraghkippane graveyard, Co Cork. (rear trio) Margaret Barry-Mooney with her brothers Eugene and Ronan Barry and (front duo) John Murphy of Cork Pipers Club and 12yo Eoin Barry seated together to play in the graveyard. Margaret, her brothers Ronan and Eugene, and nephew Eoin travelled by car from the Co Down to visit the grave of Robert Thompson for the first time, and the nephew, Eoin played the uilleann pipes at the grave. Robert Thompson was a piper and founder of Cork Pipers' Club. Margaret is the granddaughter of the Cork singer Margaret (Maggie) Barry, who was the granddaughter of Robert Thompson, so the visit links seven generations. (They were unable to find the exact location of the grave but did identity the approximate area) VIDEO Available on BlueBillyWig Pic; Larry Cummins
