 The 4metre high 'CityTrees' on St Patrick's Street, Cork City are described as pieces of smart street furniture. Using Internet of Things (IOT) technology, they contain panels covered in a mixture of moss cultures that filter harmful pollutants out of the air. The Lord Mayor Cllr Colm Kelleher launched the Cork City Council Innovative Air Quality Strategy 2021-2026, pictured here with Frank O'Flaherty and his dog Dripsey.
