Cork City Sports Athletics Awards for July & August were presented at The River Lee Hotel, Cork. on Friday 10th September 2021. JULY RECIPIENT Diarmuid O’Connor with parents Denis and Denise at the awrds presentation. The Cork City Sports Athlete for the Month July is Diarmuid O’Connor ( Bandon AC). Diarmuid set a new Irish Junior Decathlon record at the European Junior Championships in Estonia. He finished a very commendable 4th in the hotly contested competition. Pic: Larry Cummins
