ECHO story for Breda Graham, The Echo. Des Riordan, Associate Director, and site management staff from Clancy Construction handed over some hampers for special delivery via tower crane to some neighbours living beside the new Bandon Road student accomodation development. "It's off to work I HO HO HO."....Santa received special training in recent days from experienced crane operator Frank McLoughlin to undertake the delivery direct into the back gardens of homes at Lough View Terrace, Cork. One of the two 30metre high tower cranes was used for the Christmas delivery. The 554 bed, five- block development is due for completion in August 2022. This pic of children, sisters Saoirse and Aoife Martin with their mum Michelle, grandmother Anne Corrigan, and brothers Adam and Jamie Cahill, having watch the arrival from the sky of the presents, as (rear left) banksman Des Jordan gives instruction via radio to Santa in the tower crane, and (rear right) Elf Des Riordan.
