 #SafeHarbourForUkraine Appeal at Blackpool Shopping Centre on Saturday. An aid convoy of three articulated trucks and the 53 seater coach will depart Cork on Tuesday afternoon travelling via Rosslare to Cherbourg, France, Belgium, Germany to the Poland/Ukraine border. Forty women and children fleeing the war in Ukraine will be brought back on the coach to Cork. At the collection on Saturday are (Middle) Volunteer Noel Brady with coach drivers (left) Niall Cronin and (right) John Lomasney who will make the 5,900km return overland drive, along with driver Vincent O'Brien (not in photo).
