 When I took this picture, I did not think about it, but later realized that my nearly 9 years old daughter sits on nearly 900 years old tree. Probably the tree is at it's middle age, and probably will not be problem to be alived for a few more hundreds of years. Compared to the human lifespan it makes the King Oak Immortal. Mortal or Immortal this is the question. Personally myself, I am delighted that I am Mortal. The picture was taken at Charleville Estate in Tullamore, Co.Offaly.
