Locals and the local Tidy Town’s Committee are dismayed and disappointed to learn that despite meetings with Cork County Council, that the wall and seating area are to be removed to make way for a footpath. The locals who pride themselves on their village and are silver medallist in the annual tidy towns are disappointed with the decision and have appealed for a delay on the decision and come up with another plan that will not interfere with the wall and seating area.
