DJI 0646
A photograph that I, Jim Owers captured on a birthday trip on 09th November this year with my drone on a visit out to Omey Island off the Connemara coastline. Showing the ruins of the 7th century church of St. Feichin who had an establishment there. The ruins was uncovered in 1981 on an expedition-dig led by a local priest and a team of local people. The ruin had lay -buried for centuries deep in the sand dunes.
