A Turnstone on the shore of Booterstown Marsh in Dublin. It was a bright sunny day, I sat with my back to the sun and managed to put the sun behind a wall to diffuse some of the harsh light. I sat quietly on the rocks for over an hour and waited for some shorebirds to fly in and the patience paid off. Taken 8th of January 2023 using my Canon EOS 850D DSLR and my Sigma 150 - 600mm telephoto lens.
