The new school was officially opened by Tánaiste Micheál Martin, with Lord Mayor Cllr Kieran McCarthy, Minister Simon Coveney, Minister Michael McGrath, Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire, TD and City Cllr Mary-Rose Desmond were among the guests at the ceremony at the school which now has approximately 500 pupils on the roll.
