Ben Mulconry and his grandad Michael, from Blackrock were among the first cyclists crossing the new Vernon Mount Bridge linking the Grange Road with Tramore Valley Park. The bridge is now open to the public. following a 'soft opening' overnight on Hallowe'en night. The 62m bridge which spans the N40 was installed in April, linking Grange to Tramore Valley Park and is now accessible to all via a tarmac shared pathway.
