Olympic fever has hit Skibbereen with the launch of the Skibbereen Arts Festival coinciding with the Olympics 2024 rowing competitions, in which there are four rowers from Skibbereen Rowing Club. The Arts Festival was launched today with Caragh Bell dressed as 'Spartan Cynisca', the first female chariot racer.
