 Cross for Carr's Hill famine cemetery being put together at Sorenson's, Victoria Road. Mr. Sorensen, a Cork taxi owner, erected the fifty foot, iron latticework cross at Carr's Hill. Though no longer a young man, he saw to its maintenance until shortly before his death in 1979. 25/04/1958 Ref. 89K old black and white
