One of three flares in the sky to mark the unveiling of a plaque in Ballydehob by Kitty O'Driscoll, Ballydehob, in remembrance of three ladies - one of them was Ktty's aunt Bridget O'Driscoll, Ballydehob; Mary Kelly, Castlepollard, and Annie Jane (Nancy) Jermyn, Ballydehob, who escaped on one of the lifeboats from the sinking of the Titanic.
