ULSTER Diary 112126
File photo dated 12/04/12 of Liu Yandong, the highest ranking female politician in China's Communist Party, in Belfast during her visit to Northern Ireland. PRESS ASSOCIATION Photo. Issue date: Sunday April 15, 2012. Titanic Belfast has welcomed its most high profile visitor yet...and it seems she couldn`t get enough of the place. Chinese stateswoman Madame Liu Yandong was given a private tour of the attraction early on Friday morning before it opened to the public for the day. With an official engagement at the University of Ulster to attend an hour later, the hush hush trip was meant to be a whistle stop jaunt round only parts of the complex. But this wasn`t quite enough to sate the Titanic appetite of Madame Liu and her sizeable delegation of officials. When the mini-tour was over, the senior ranking Communist Party politician asked could she go round again. The centre had opened to the general public by this stage, but that wasn`t about to put Madame Liu off. With her digital camera in one hand, she marched back into the galleries for another look, mingling with tourists and snapping anything that caught her eye. See PA story ULSTER Diary.
