The class is taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP). Jim Barry, Managing Director of Barry Group (which is responsible for the Costcutter franchise in Ireland) has teamed up with the Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP) as sponsor to bring this exciting new initiative to primary schools in Cork city and county. The class held a Dragon’s Den with Seán Gallagher in January and since then the children have set up their own business, 'Midleton’s Eye Postcards', which are now on sale in shops around Midleton. They invested their own money and are delighted as they have managed to make a profit.
