18th September 2014 1,000 people joined SPAR and Ray DÕArcy for 5k at lunchtime on Thursday 19th September in Cork. The run was officially started by local hero and former Olympian Derval OÕRourke. 
The Join SPAR and Ray for 5K series is in its 4th year and this yearÕs events also take place in Letterkenny, Athlone, Limerick and Dublin with record numbers of participants signed up.
Speaking about the Join SPAR and Ray for 5K series, Ray DÕArcy of Today FM said, ÒI am delighted to be on the road again for the 4th Year with the ÔJoin SPAR and Ray for 5KÕ series of lunchtime runs. I hope that everybody who has taken up the 5k challenge, particularly those who completed the challenge for the first time today, will continue to make running part of their daily routine.Ó

18th September 2014 1,000 people joined SPAR and Ray DÕArcy for 5k at lunchtime on Thursday 19th September in Cork. The run was officially started by local hero and former Olympian Derval OÕRourke. 
The Join SPAR and Ray for 5K series is in its 4th year and this yearÕs events also take place in Letterkenny, Athlone, Limerick and Dublin with record numbers of participants signed up.
Speaking about the Join SPAR and Ray for 5K series, Ray DÕArcy of Today FM said, ÒI am delighted to be on the road again for the 4th Year with the ÔJoin SPAR and Ray for 5KÕ series of lunchtime runs. I hope that everybody who has taken up the 5k challenge, particularly those who completed the challenge for the first time today, will continue to make running part of their daily routine.Ó

Canterbury and the IRFU have today unveiled the new Ireland home and alternate playing kits which will be worn for the first time during the Guinness Series when Ireland take on South Africa, Georgia and Australia.
