Maria, who handles donkeys for tourist rides, waters her charges in the volcanic crater lake of Laguna Quilotoa, Ecuador, as clouds roll into the caldera. Quilotoa crater, 3 km wide, was created by a massive volcanic explosion 800 years ago, that had the force of about 200 megatons of TNT, or 13,000 times that of the Hiroshima bomb.

My visit in Glendalough at Upper Lake. Very difficult to photograph place. Light is changing quickly and place becoming dark.Weather wasn't great too. I don't even remember good weather in WicklowWater was so nice in the lake that I had to take my boots off and walk in.

"BALLINASLOE HORSE FAIR"
A view of The Fair Green in Ballinasloe taken today the 2nd October 2016 at the annual Horse Fair, the Oldest Horse Fair in Europe. The photo was taken from the top of Dunlo Hill, overlooking The Green. It is I think a very "Autumn looking picture". I am a local, born and reared in Ballinasloe and grew up looking forward each year to the event but as the future of The Fair is in question due to many reasons, especially in the news this year, due to trouble last year, I want to keep this unique event alive. There is nothing like this event and it is a great boost to a Town in need of any help it can get. It would be a shame if this historic event is lost for ever. I am not a photographer, I have a small very old little canon camera, but I do like to take photos of The Fair each year, and this one people seem to like, so I thought I would enter it. Hope I am not late.
