The Quinn family from Belfast enjoying the 'shipyard ride' in Gallery Two (The Arrol Gantry). The Shipyard Ride - Believed to be the first of it's kind, the ride is a five minute journey in a six seater car (pictured top with number 1 on side) that rotates and moves up and down along a circuit accompanied by CGI, audio and special effects. Surrounded by full-size replicas, including riveting machines and Titanic's rudder, give a scale perspective into working life on the shipyard. The original Arrol Gantry was 840ft long, 240ft wide and 228ft high, and was in use until the 1960s.

Titanica Unveiled 6 Lewis

Titanica created by renowned artist and sculptor Rowan Gillespie was unveiled today at a multi-faith blessing by methodist minister Rev Drew Abernethy, Anglican chaplain Rev Chris Bennett, Presbyterian Chaplain Margaret Ferguson and Father Eugene O'Neill. Mr Gillespie, whose work is exhibited from Dublin to Moscow said that Titanica represented twelve months of work and reflected an image both of people jumping into the sea as well as the re-birth of the Titanic story through the stunning architecture of the six floor Titanic signature building that is due to open on the 31st of this month.

The SS Nomadic - A steamship of the White Star Line, launched on 25 April 1911 in Belfast. She was built as a tender to the liners RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic, and is the last remaining vessel built for the White Star Line still afloat, which sits in a dry dock beside the new Titanic Belfast building in Belfast's Titanic Quarter.
