A commemerative stone was also unveiled at the pitches. Cllr Kenneth Collins, Deputising for The Lord Mayor and special guest Tracey Kennedy beside the stone.

 Gaelscoil Uí Drisceoil organise a fancy dress competition and festival of traditional games for the children as a fun charity fundraiser at Hallowe’en each year- 'Trick or Treat for Templestreet ' 
Suzanne Moloney, parent and long time active member of Cáirde na Scoile , [ parents association], designed a very innovative costume for Gearóid's wheelchair . With assistance from her niece Megan MacMonagle , Gearóids SNA , and her daughter LillySue (6th Class pupil) , the amazing costume stole the show and got 1st Prize . We are thrilled for Gearóid that he will fulfill every child's dream of a spot on the Late Late Toy Show - Comhgairdeachas Gearóid !
It is a wonderful story and a shining example of all that Gaelscoil Uí Drisceoil represents , inclusivity , innovation , co-operation between parents , teachers pupils and the wider community all coming together for the common good .
