 'Some where under a rainbow'
A landscape photograph displaying a kaleidoscope of natural colour over Ballyoran near Castlelyons in Co. Cork. I captured this photograph on Friday evening at about 18:30 hours as a rather heavy localised thunder storm presented and hovered over Castlelyons village in the distance with dark-thundery rain clouds partially-obscuring a magnificent rainbow all completing a colourful atmospheric Irish landscape scene.
What s wrong with YE
At the 2019 Pieta House Darkness into Light walk in Limerick, a drunk man accidentally stumbled through the MESSAGE OF HOPE and knocked over the letters Y and E. As the crowd were quick to throw judgemental comments at the now embarrassed man, a young boy decided to bend down and fix the scattered letters back together.

We have a mental health crisis in Ireland and when it comes to positive events like this to raise awareness, we must absolutely reserve judgement of other peoples human mistakes and be mindful of their personal struggles.

Flower in Stream
Johnstown Castle, Co. Wexford
March 2019
Picture: Gareth McNulty

This photo was taken on a day out at Johnstown Castle in County Wexford. March had seen a very wet, and windy spell throughout the month, and this was one of the first weekends where Spring really pushed through, with blue skies, and an all out warm relaxing day. My girlfriend and I, were strolling around the gardens of the castle when I spotted this flower with the leaf in a stream. It stood out, due to the contrast between the dark bed of the stream, the bright pink of the flower, and the green of the leaf, where I immediately knew it would make for a perfect, and stunning photo. Without hesitation I seen the picture in my mind, and proceeded to capture what you see. Lying down in the wet grass with one elbow in the stream itself, my camera centimeters above the water line, just to get the right angle for this photo. My hope that my hands stay true, and my camera dry was high, as this was the only option to capture the flower as perfectly as this, and my image you see is the result.
