In attendance on the day will be Fionnuala MacCurtain, grand-daughter of Tomas; Cathal MacSwiney Brugha (grandson of both Terence MacSwiney and Cathal Brugha) Other, more recent, graduates of the school are also included on the mural, including prominent hurlers Seán óg ó Hailpín and the current Cork captain, Patrick Horgan.
