watchingmewatchingyou Watching me watching you This photo was taken on the river Dodder in Dublin, a river rich in biodiversity and home to a wide variety of birds and mammals. By using a long lens and a wide aperture on the camera settings and focusing on the kingfisher alone, I tried to convey a sense of menace as the eye of the viewer moves across the frame to realise that the beautiful bird is under observation from behind.

There was literally only one flower on the tree and the castle always looks beautiful, sitting on the edge of the sea so I seized the moment & combined both castle and flower in my photo. We liked the photo so much I framed it and placed it in my hall. Pre Covid-19 when family & friends called to our home, they would always say I should enter it in a competition. So here it is. The Barber s Shop I was walking through the streets of Kolkata, where I found a small old fashioned empty Barber Shop where a Barber was sitting, it was the time when just the lockdown was over in India and people had just started coming out of their houses maintaining Covid-19 protocols, I was having a conversation with the barber, all I gotta know that how his business was declining day by day due to the effect of the pandemic and after a 6 months lockdown while having the conversation he looked at his mirror that's when I took the shot focusing on his reflection in the mirror. Hope of a better life Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. A picture of a man showing his lifestyle during the pandemic. Due to the lockdown, imposed by the government unemployment rate rises in every sector of the market. This man was a laborer in India who lost his job due to the lockdown, but still he believed that someday the sun will shine, and his condition will improve. He didn't give up, and he not only survived the virus but also poverty. This man is a true example of heroism and courage. The story of this man shows that no situation is permanent in life. 20210309 173620 Daily Vistor during Lockdown. Every day during lockdown this friendly pheasant appeared in my mothers garden. She called him 'Jem '. He would arrive at different times during the day so she always looking out for him and of course fed him a few bits. Jem made my Mothers day and kept her spirits up. She was so afraid that he would be shot during the shooting season but thankfully he survived and is still showing up to this day. He now knows my Mothers voice and when she sees him out the window she opens the door and calls him. He runs right up to her back door as seen in photo. So a beautiful friendship has blossomed between them both.
